After all, you are excited about a Maine beach vacation, but you want to be able to bring along your dog versus leaving them in a kennel at home.
The York Harbor Inn has a designated dog-friendly inn called the 1730 Harbor Crest Inn, while the Colony Hotel in Kennebunkport allows pets in their historic oceanfront hotel. Some resorts and inns do charge a nominal fee when you bring your pet, but that fee typically includes a dog treat, a water dish, and covers the extra cleaning required after your pet's stay.
